Según algunas fuentes, producto de la escasez de semiconductores Canon ha comenzado a vender cartridges de tintas sin un chip de protección de copia (que se asegure que sea original). Y por lo mismo Canon estarían dando recomendaciones sobre como saltarse el aviso de "falsificado" que la impresora te lanza para cuando detecte uno de esos cartuchos canon sin chip DRM:
